Black Rabbits are characters in the movie Guillermo Del Toro's Pinocchio. They are voiced by Tim Blake Nelson.

The Black Rabbits live in the afterlife and work for Death. Every time Pinocchio dies, they carry his coffin up a mountain. They are often found playing cards.

- It's possible that Del Toro took inspiration in the creation of the Black Rabbits from the Book "Watership Down". In the book, the Black Rabbit of Inlé is the grim reaper of the rabbit world who takes rabbits away at their predestined times of death. Del Toro as spoken of the profound effect the film adaptation of the book had on him in how animation could be used to convey mature themes.[1]
