Robert "Bob" Cratchit is a character in the movie Scrooge: A Christmas Carol. He is voiced by Johnny Flynn.
Bob Cratchit is based on the character of the same name in Charles Dickens' story A Christmas Carol. Bob has appeared in other adaptations, such as in Disney, in The Muppets and in Ghostbusters.
Biography[]
Bob Cratchit is a clerk at Scrooge's company, Marley & Scrooge Private Bankers and Moneylenders. Bob is underpaid by Scrooge. He and his wife, Ethel, live in poverty, along with their many children. Their son, Tiny Tim, is seriously ill, and they cannot afford his medical treatment.

Bob wishes to be given Christmas Day off work. However, Scrooge does not approve and withholds his pay.
During Scrooge's visit from the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come, Scrooge learns that in the future, Bob's son, Tiny Tim, dies and that their family is devastated. Scrooge vows to change for the better if it means that Tim will live on.
