Bruce Sun is a character in the action crime series The Brothers Sun, who is portrayed by Sam Song Li.
Biography[]
Bruce is the youngest son of Eileen and Big Sun. At a young age, Bruce left Taipei, as his mother was forced to flee. The two started a new life in Los Angeles and cut off contacts from her past. Bruce grew up in sunny Southern California with no memory of his early years in Taipei. He grew up completely naive to his family's gangster activity.

Bruce is a pre-med student, who is struggling to pay tuition fees after spending $5000 on an improv class. His friend, TK Lee, encourages Bruce to sell weed with him.
Bruce's older brother, Charles returns to Los Angeles after the murder of their father, Big Sun, who was a powerful figure in the Taiwanese triad. Charles' mission is to protect his family, while navigating the treacherous waters of his father's legacy. Bruce grew up completely naive to his family's criminal empire and dark history. Charles' arrival in Los Angeles throws Bruce into a world of crime and danger, for which he is completed unprepared for. Bruce is forced to confront a legacy he never knew and a destiny he isn't sure he wants, causing a shift in his perception of family and identity.
