Carrie Wilson is the “mean girl” character in the Netflix series Julie and the Phantoms. She is portrayed by Savannah Lee May.

Background

Biography

Carrie Wilson is born, presumably as an only child, to Trevor Wilson and an unnamed woman sometime between 2004 and 2005. Her father is a famous and wealthy musician who holds multiple platinum records. Not much is known about her early life.

She used to be friends with Julie Molina, (and presumably Flynn), but they had a falling out and are now disdainful of each other. It is unknown what happened between them.

She is the leader of her musical group, Dirty Candy, and is seen to be the only one singing in their songs. Her father, Trevor Wilson, is supportive of her musical ambition. According to Flynn, Trevor pays for the group’s performance costumes as well as “Katy Perry's choreographer”, although the accuracy of the latter point is debatable. He also regularly pulls strings to aid Carrie and her group, as implied in “Finally Free”.

Personality

Carrie comes off as a mean-spirited girl, especially towards Julie and Flynn. She is popular in school with her musical group, Dirty Candy. She becomes highly jealous of the growing popularity of Julie and the Phantoms, believing her group to be better. She is ambitious and a self-proclaimed hard worker. In “Bright”, she told Nick that she worked hard on Dirty Candy routines and believed they were deserving of more recognition, in response to Julie upstaging her with her unannounced performance.

Physical Appearance

Carrie is 5 feet 4 inches (162.56 cm) tall. She has strawberry blonde hair and brown eyes. She is usually seen sporting something pink, designer, and reminiscent of early 2000's fashion. When she performs with Dirty Candy, she wears a pastel pink wig, and an entire outfit of glittery or shimmery pink, often paired with silver and space motifs. She wears multiple necklaces, rings, and bracelets throughout her appearances.
