D.P. (Korean: 디피) is a South Korean drama series created by Han Jun-hee and Kim Bo-Tong. The series is based on the webtoon D.P: Dog Days by Kim Bo-tong. It was released on August 27, 2021.
D.P. stands for 'Deserter Pursuit,' a unit within the Army's Military Police that chases down AWOL soldiers. With this novel premise, the original webtoon proved to be a huge hit with more than 10 million readers. It also brought to light violent acts and violations of human rights within the military. The series is produced by Lezhin Studio in association with Homemade Film.[1]
On December 14, 2021, it was announced that Netflix had renewed the series fo a second season.[2][3]
