Dale is a character in the series The Night Agent. He is portrayed by Phoenix Raei.
Biography[]
Dale is a professional killer who works with Ellen, his partner in violence and love. Dale and Ellen are hired by Gordon Wick, the CEO of mysterious government contractor Turn Lake Industries.
Ellen and Dale are very successful when they work together to assassinate people. However, over time, Ellen gets tired of being on the run all the time. She dreams of living in a large house and having their own family, despite not believing that people like them should be parents. Dale is initially hesitant, as their lifestyle prevents them from raising a child, and it's implied that Dale is unable to reproduce, but he slowly warms to the idea.
Throughout The Night Agent[]
One night, Dale and Ellen break into the Campbells' house to kill both Emma and Henry Campbell. Their niece, Rose Larkin escapes, and is followed by Dale, who fails to kill her before police arrive.
Later, Dale follows FBI agent Peter Sutherland and Rose's car and shoots at them.
Dale and Ellen stand outside a woman's house with a baby. They inform the woman that they used to live there. The woman welcomes them inside. As they chat, she realizes something is off, but it is too late as they kill her. The couple take a bag and leave the baby behind. The man texts someone that it is done, and he gets an order to return to D.C. to finish what they started.[1]
Ellen and the Dale return to Washington, DC. Ellen is interested in opening the bag, but Dale cautions her against opening it because it might be hazardous.
Dale and Ellen are staying in a motel. Ellen opens the bag and finds a nanny cam. She questions whether they can download the files, but Dale advises her to leave it alone. Gordon Wick and Ashley Redfield call Dale and notify him that they have new details about the target. They send him new information.
Gordon tells Ashley that Dale has been working for him for the past eight years and recently brought in Ellen. They make a good team and have excellent results.
Peter arrives at the hotel to find the Secret Service agents are gone. The power suddenly goes out. Peter rushes to Rose's room and finds the door is unlocked. They try to flee quickly, but Dale spots them on the steps and starts shooting.
Peter and Rose jump through the glass window and flee into the streets. They go to a clothing store to get new clothes because Rose is only wearing a robe. Ellen fails to find them and gets frustrated. Dale tries to calm her down.

At the motel, Dale tries to calm Ellen down. Dale receives a call giving them a new mission.[2]
Ellen and Dale go to the woods and search the cabin for Peter and Rose. Rose and Peter manage to get away. Peter records Ellen and Dale's license plate information.
Ellen decides she had had enough of motels and persuades Dale to check the open house she previously visited. While Dale does not share her desire to lead a fancy life, like Ellen, he agrees to stay with her for a while at the open house.[3]
Peter Sutherland and Cisco Jenkins find the open house Ellen and Dale have been staying in. However, by the time they reach the house and search it, Ellen and Dale have already left after getting an order to kill Lorna. Although Lorna fought hard and refused to talk, they kill her and bury her in the woods.[4]
Outside the library, Ellen and Dale are waiting for Rose and Peter. Ellen brings up the idea of having a baby, but Dale rejects it, as raising a baby doesn't fit into their assassin lifestyle. When Peter and Rose leave, Ellen and Dale follow them.[5]
In a flashback to 2 years ago when Ellen and Dale killed Andrej Pavelić, a denounced Crown Prince of Yugoslavia, and disposed his body in a lake. Ellen hoped the murder would be bloody, but Dale tells her that blood would take time to clean up.
In the present, Ellen and Dale are following Rose Larkin and Peter Sutherland, who are driving to the White House. Ellen wants to have a high-speed car chase, but Dale tells her that they have a tracker on Peter's car, so they won't lose them.
In the car, Rose gives Peter points on how to approach the situation when he reports to Diane Farr and President Michelle Travers. Peter wants Rose to stay behind while he goes into the White House. Peter and Rose notice they are being followed. Dale and Ellen retreat when they realize they have been spotted.
Dale and Ellen wait outside Cisco's home. Dale and Ellen discuss having a baby again. Ellen admits that Dale is right in that they can't raise a child.
Cisco and Rose leave, and are followed by Dale and Ellen. Ellen hits Cisco's car and shoots him.
Meanwhile, Peter is hunted down by the other agents, who want him arrested. Peter escapes from the White House via a tunnel that leads outside. He heads to the foundry park, where he finds Dale about to kill Rose. Peter fights Dale and gets the upper hand. Rose wants to kill Dale, but Peter wants to have him arrested. Dale taunts them about Rose's aunt's and Lorna's deaths. He tries to attack Peter again, so Peter kills him and leaves Dale floating in the water.
At the White House, Diane and Ashley discuss how to get ahead of Peter. Ashley pretends to be concerned about Maddie's kidnapping, but Diane insists on using the kidnapping to frame Peter, as he and Rose know enough to jeopardize Diane and Ashley's careers. Diane reminds Ashley that he was the one who started all this, and only roped Diane in after things didn't go to plan. They prepare for a press conference.
The next morning, Ellen finds Dale's body at the foundry park and is visibly upset.[6]
