Dominic Fumusa is an American actor. He is best recognized for his role as Nurse Jackie in the Showtime comedy-drama series.
For Netflix, he is known for his role in the 2021 action thriller film, Sweet Girl, in which he plays, Sam Walker.
Biography[]
Fumusa was one of ten children born into a large family in Wisconsin. In 1987, he graduated from McFarland High School. He graduated from Lawrence University with a bachelor's degree in political science and a master's degree in fine arts from the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign in 1994.
Fumusa began his acting career in Chicago before relocating to New York and making his Broadway debut in 1998 opposite Marisa Tomei and Quentin Tarantino in a revival of Wait Until Dark.
