Biography[]
Dove is a hard-nosed investigative journalist from Dublin. She has a disdain for authority and hypocrisy.
Dove grew up in a convent due to her mother's heroin addiction.
Throughout Bodkin[]
Dove spent 18 months in London investigating a story, but was forced by her boss, Damien, to stop pursuing the case after the key source, a government whistleblower, was found dead. She begrudgingly went to Bodkin to work with true crime podcaster Gilbert Power and researcher Emmy Sizergh. Together, they investigated Edward Power, Fiona Doyle and Malachy O'Connor, who disappeared many years ago at the Samhain Festival.[1]
While in Bodkin, Damien informed Dove that the police had subpoenaed her emails and that the police were trying to charge her for breaching the Official Secrets Act. Damien assured her that lawyers would try to fight charges and advised her to lie low in Bodkin.[2]
