The Eden Foundation is a location in Welcome To Eden. It is founded by Astrid and Erick, who feel they are protecting their members from the outside world. They live on a remote island.
Lifestyle[]
At Eden, members do not pay to stay there, but they work. They grow their own food and test samples of the water. There is limited privacy as they sleep in modules with large windows all around. They are also watched by cameras and followed by drones. They are willing to go to great lengths to ensure that everyone at Eden follows the rules. According to Astrid, the planet is going to hell and those at Eden will survive. Rule-breaking puts Eden at risk. When issues arise, such as the hacking during Astrid and Erick's anniversary party, the committee get together to discuss what to do. Committee members include level 3 members, such as Astrid, Erick, Mayka, Brenda, Orson, Ulises and Saúl.[1]
At Eden, the residents do not eat meat. They only eat vegetables grown from their garden. Even the burgers are made of quinoa. According to a resident, this is because the livestock industry emits many greenhouse gases, accelerates climate change and excessive consumption of meat has serious health consequences. During every meal, a resident reads news about climate change, such as recent natural disasters and the impact of climate change on people's lives.[2] Smoking is also not allowed at Eden.[3]
There are regular evaluations at Eden. Everyone sits in a circle and one member is invited to sit in the middle of the circle and talk to Astrid. The member is invited to talk about their life experiences, and Astrid takes it as an opportunity to remind everyone that those outside Eden do not care about them.
No one has ever managed to leave Eden and there are staff members to ensure that members don't escape. Certain staff members are tasked with tracking members and carrying out executions. When Aldo left his module to explore, he was followed by a drone. Later, when he stole a 4WD to escape, he was quickly stopped by the staff. At his final escape attempt, he snuck onto a boat, but ended up being killed by Brenda. After Judith witnessed Ulises attempting to drown Fran, she was kidnapped by Orson, who covered her arm in blue paint. She was then shot by Brenda and kicked off a cliff.

Members[]
Members are separated into 3 levels. For each level, the member gets a tattoo of Eden on their arm. Those with a higher level have more access to Eden.
Astrid and Erick scour social media to find potential new recruits. These recruits are invited to an exclusive party, where they drink Blue Eden. The chosen ones stay on the island, and the rest are sent home.
Children are not allowed at Eden, so members are cannot have children. The only exception is Isaac, Astrid and Erick's son, who was mostly kept away from the other members.
