Emma Morley is a character in the British romantic drama series One Day, who is portrayed by Ambika Mod.
Biography[]
Emma is from Leeds. She studied English at the University of Edinburgh, where she became friends with Tilly Killick.
Throughout One Day[]
On graduation night, Emma met Dexter Mayhew, who comes from money and privilege and is known for being a playboy. They stayed in contact and remained friends for many years.
After graduation, Emma had various jobs. In Wolverhampton, she was part of Sledgehammer Theatre Cooperative. In London, Emma worked in a Mexican restaurant named Loco Caliente, where she befriended her co-worker, Ian. Later, Emma played bass in a band, variously called Throat, Slaughterhouse Six and Bad Biscuit.
