Episode 6 is the sixth episode of the first season of the Netflix series Zero.
Synopsis[]
Anna has good news to share with Omar but gets angry over his revelation. Omar manages to get the goods on Rico but Momo suffers the consequences.
Plot[]
The episode starts with Omar reflecting about powerful people, giving an example of a software CEO viewing the future while his clients are impressed about the things they are seeing in his VR machines, this while we have a view of the building of a corporative.
Anna is in her house having breakfast with her parents. She receives the news from Mr. Ricci that she will get the scholarship she needs to study in Paris.
Meanwhile Omar and Awa discusses about Omar leaving home, Awa accepts that she did not remember anything about their mom and neglects to accept Omar reasons about leaving. Also she complains that she is unable to see in the mornings, not even her mobile phone.
Later Anna and her dog find Omar working in Sandokan. Awa is impressed by Anna's looks, then Anna wants to speak with Omar. She happily informs him about her scholarship, but Omar coldly congratulates back, then he told her that he knows that his dad is involved in the arson attacks against Barrio. He then explains that the insecurity of the place and the high rents will pull people away and this would make the empty places cheaper to buy for Sirenneta.
Anna does not accepts the idea of her father being behind the problems of Barrio and rejects Omar ideas, he angrily says that she is not in the position to judge that. Then they broke again.
Meanwhile Rico receives a call from Mr. Ricci who asks him to stay away from Barrio from a while. Rico gets angry as long as he will not be paid while there are no actions in the place.
Omar goes with Awa to the doctor. The doctor gives Awa a pair of glasses, and while this improves Awa's sight, the doctor asks Omar to talk with him. By one side the doctor informs Omar that Thiermo is worried about him, then he talks with him about he and Awa have a strong connection, and he shows him a mysterious portrait that makes Omar a little scared as long as he is afraid of painted portraits. He then realize that two mysterious black people are drawn with elegant clothes.
Omar meet the rest of the gang and they decide to put on a plan where they can catch Mr. Ricci and Rico doing business together, so the gang decides on spy on Rico's house. That night they catch a man going to Rico's house but then they notice he is just a doctor that is tending to Rico's daughter.
Meanwhile Anna is surprised with a party where his dad introduces her to his professors and friends. Anna confronts her father and discusses about the possibility that he is involved in the attacks to the Barrio community. He first tries to deny his actions, but he ends accepting that the company is involved in these actions, when Anna asks his parent to stop doing this actions, he just replies her that he don't want his actions to be discovered. She leaves disappointed.
The next day, the gang is spying on a party where Rico is attending and suddenly they notice that also Mr. Ricci is in the place, so they send Omar to spy on them, he manages to follow both of them to a room, there Omar begins to film both men discussing the last actions and Mr. Ricci asks Chico to stop his actions against the Barrio gang, but Chico tell him that he is very close to stop them and confides him that a man that is able to disappear is with them. Then, Mr. Ricci pulls out some money to pay Chico to finish his actions.
Meanwhile, we have Awa having a date with a boy back in Barrio. She left the glasses behind and goes with the boy to a restaurant. Then, suddenly she begins to see partially what Omar has been seeing and her sight is lost and get scared..
At the same time, Omar appears in front of the men and jumps out of a window to run to his friends car. They try to run away from Chico and his thugs that takes chase using a truck. The thugs are able to jam and manages to stop the car. The gang tries to run by foot, throwing Omar´s mobile phone between them. Finally the phone falls in the hands of Momo that tries something in the phone as long as he is the slowest one of the gang. He is easily caught by Rico that manages to impale him in the back and take the phone away.
The gang looks in despair to the injured Momo while Rico and his thugs move away.
