Chiu's students are left reeling in the wake of their loss. El Balde summons his fellow jefes and transforms them into flesh-eating monsters.

Detailed Summary[]

A flashback when Isabella, Silencio, and Jesus perform a Dao funeral for their pet bird Valenite. The following day, Isabella finds her pet bird's corpse eaten by a cat. Back to the present, the siblings find the dead body of their master Chiu and grief over the loss of Chiu and Domingo. Silencio has a tantrum and runs off somewhere after Isabella says they're going to the police. In a makeshift morgue located in the freeze of a bar. Brister and Garcia discuss a motive of the occurrence, while examing the victims of Jaimito and El Balde's rampage. Out of the makeshift morgue, the two police officers get into an argument over who's in charge until Isabelle and Jesus arrive in the bar. Because they've been inundated with work, they cannot help them. Jesus, however, drowns his sorrows leaving Isabella to bury their master.

Meanwhile, at El Balde's Mansion, he Nachito to summon every jefe and in a secret room collects more black powder from a statue. Back to Isabella who digs a sepulcher for Chiu reflects on when she was a child and failed to give Valenite a proper burial. She's consoled by Chiu who gives her words of wisdom. In the present, as Isabella tries to bury Chiu, she finds a peach blossom tattoo on his back. Silencio returns to San Simon and is met by his girlfriend Lina and the two console each other. Jesus is still at the bar and gets into a "Barfight" with one of the patrons. Balde holds a meeting with nearly all of the jefes. One of the jefes is killed by Balde because of his arrogant and quizzical comments. The remainder of jefes each drink from a chalice that was served to them that contains black powder and it transforms them all into mutant monsters. The goal of all of this was to draw the jefe of San Simon out of hiding.

That night, Jesus returns home and is chastised by Isabella for his drunk and sloven appearance. Not caring about what she has to say, Jesus goes into the garden and finds the severed finger of Jaimito that tries to cry away and escape. As drunk as he was, Jesus manages to catch the finger and put it in his bottle of tequila. Unbeknownst to Isabella who goes into Chiu's private room and finds a book with the same tattoo mark, she found on Chiu's back. The transformed jefes invade their home grounds. In Lina's room, Silencio and Lina enjoy each other's company and start to play Mal Hombre. Isabelle starts to read Chiu's book that details his back story and while chasing the finger, Jesus runs into the jefe mutants. Soon Isabelle encounters them and kills a couple of them and the remaining ones start to dig up Chiu's grave. Once Silencio and Lina finish playing the song, Lina brings up that Silencio believes himself as a "Mal Hombre", but she believes contrary. This causes Silencio to snap and leave Lina.

Back at the temple, Isabelle and Jesus fight off the remaining jefes to prevent them from digging up Chiu's grave. Using the jefe's hunger against them, Isabelle plans to throw Chiu's corpse into his burning room. Jesus and soon Silencio arrives to help divert the jefes' attention from Isabelle. Once Chiu is placed in his room, the jefes who lunge themselves into the flaming room and die in a massive explosion from all of the alcoholic jow inside of it. The following morning, Isabella scolds Silencio for being selfish. A flashback plays by and reveals that he helped his older sister out by scaring a stray cat away from trying to eat Valenite's corpse once again. Elsewhere, Brister takes a taxi to a "Curandera" or a Folk Healer.
