Jackie Howard is the protagonist in the teen drama series My Life With the Walter Boys. She is the youngest daughter of the late Angelica and Benton Howard. She is Lucy Howard’s younger sister. She is portrayed by Nikki Rodriguez.
Biography[]
Jackie Howard is a 15-year-old girl. She has straight A's in AP classes, is head of the events committee next year at her all-girls Manhattan prep school, and plans to attend Princeton University.
After a tragic accident, Jackie leaves her privileged life in New York City behind. She moves to Silver Falls in rural Colorado, to live with the Walter family, a large and boisterous family. Jackie becomes entangled in a love triangle with Cole and Alex.
Jackie attends Silver Falls High School, where Skylar Summerhill and Grace befriend her. Grace is keen to hear everything about Jackie's experience living in a house full of boys.
Throughout My Life With the Walter Boys[]
One day Jackie Howard is holding an event committee at her school during spring break waiting for her parents to arrive to the event with her sister who they just picked up from Bennington early for spring break. Jackie texts her older sister Lucy multiple times asking where her and her parents are. Then Jackie’s Uncle Richard shows up to the event and to inform her that parents and her sister Lucy were all killed in a tragic car accident on the way to the event.
Personality[]
Jackie is highly-ambitious, focused and observant. She is extremely goal-orientated and intelligent, as her greatest wish is to be accepted into her dream Ivy League university following high school. Therefore, Jackie is often preoccupied with a busy schedule comprised of academic endeavours and extra-curricular activities such as school sporting commitments or community work. Considering Jackie is quite the high-achiever, and usually solely dedicates her time to ensuring a good schooling performance, this can make her seem somewhat uptight and stuck-up. Jackie is also a very competitive person, so she can be snarky towards others in the heat of the moment, as seen with Erin - her greatest competitor to date. However, Jackie does have a shy side to her, and can be rather apprehensive when it comes to interacting with others. Furthermore, in light of her family tragedy, Jackie appears to have become all the more withdrawn and often prefers to keep to herself. Yet, Jackie soon warms to several people in her new life and family, including Cole and Alex Walter, as well as school friends Skylar and Grace. With them, Jackie is shown to be quite friendly and open to discussing her troubles. As the show progresses, Jackie grows to evidently care a lot for the Walter family, specifically Alex and Cole. Jackie is very earnest in her relationships with them.

Jackie is a short, pretty girl in her mid-teens. She has straight black hair which is usually kept tied in a ponytail for school, but loose at home. Jackie has a heart-shaped face and light-brown eyes.
Jackie often wears sweater vests, sweaters and blouses.
