Joo Yeo-jeong (Korean: 주여정) is a deuteragonist in the Korean drama series The Glory. He is portrayed by Lee Do-hyun.
Biography[]
Yeo-jeong works as a plastic surgeon at Seoul Joo General Hospital. His father, Joo Jong-heon, ran the hospital until he was murdered by Kang Yeong-cheon.
Throughout The Glory[]
While being an inpatient at Seoul Joo General Hospital, the hospital where he works, Yeo-jeong gets to know fellow inpatient Moon Dong-eun. The two play Go in the park. Yeo-jeong has feelings for Dong-eun, but she is too focused on plotting revenge to notice. She is also wary of his privileged life as Yeo-jeong's father ran the hospital where he's now employed.
Personality[]
Yeo-jeong is a quiet and talented doctor. He seems eager to do a good job and despite many rejections from Dong-eun, he offers himself time and again at her service. After bearing witness to Dong-eun’s scars, he asks her who he has to kill for her. As the series continues, it is revealed that Yeo-jeong’s father was murdered by a serial killer who has been sending letters to Yeo-jeong detailing the murder. He hides his psychological torment from others and likely finds Dong-eun’s path to revenge cathartic; ultimately, it leads to the two dating and teaming up to exact his revenge on his father’s killer.
Physical appearance[]
He is tall and has unstyled hair. In one scene, a woman remarks that he is good looking for a doctor, to which he replies that his nickname is “Mr. Handsome”.
