Kang Hyeon-nam (Korean: 강현남) is a character in the Korean drama series The Glory. She is portrayed by Yeom Hye-ran.
Biography[]
Hyeon-nam is the housekeeper for Park Yeon-jin, the ringleader of the group that bullied Moon Dong-eun in high school.

Hyeon-nam catches Dong-eun looking through Yeon-jin's garbage one evening. Hyeon-nam offers to help Dong-eun instead of reporting her. In return, Dong-eun is given the responsibility of keeping Hyeon-nam's abusive husband away forever.
Personality[]
Hyeon-nam is a cheerful, caring, loyal, and loving woman who loves and cherishes her daughter Lee Seon-a and will do anything to protect her from her abusive husband as well other people. She even goes as far as to slapping Park Yeon-Jin to protect her daughter. She is also a quick learner as she proved to be able to quickly master essential skills like staying up to date with technology like smartphones, learning how to drive and use the camera that Dong-Eun bought for her all within a short period of time. She tactfully maneuvered those skills to be of great help to Dong-Eun. She proved to be smarter than she looks and finds out information that Moon Dong-Eun and Joo Yeo-Jeong missed through her agility and immaculate observational and spying skills.

She got her driver's license and learned how to properly use a camera only after agreeing to help Dong-Eun.
She is one of the few characters who made Dong-Eun genuinely laugh. She did so by referencing Damian and Raemian and by trying to crack a boiled egg on her forehead and failing to break it.
The vehicle she rides is a 5th-generation Hyundai Sonata late-model vehicle provided by Moon Dong-eun. The vehicle is later handed over to Seong-hee.
She was one of the few characters brave enough to directly fight back to Park Yeon-Jin.
