Locke & Key

Locke & Key is an American coming-of-age horror-drama from Carlton Cuse and Meredith Averill. It is based on the acclaimed, best-selling graphic novels co-created by Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez for IDW Entertainment. The series follows a families search for answers surrounding their father's death and the discoveries about themselves they make along the way.

In March 2020, Netflix announced that the series had been renewed for a second season which was released on October 22, 2021.^[1] On December 18, 2020, it was announced that the series was renewed for a third season, ahead of the second season release.^[2]

Summary[]

"After their father is murdered under mysterious circumstances, the three Locke siblings and their mother move into their ancestral home, Keyhouse, which they discover is full of magical keys that may be connected to their father's death. Following their father's death, three siblings move back to their childhood home. Along the way, they find three keys, each which gives them extraordinary powers. Unbeknownst to them, a demon in the house wants the keys for himself, and will stop at nothing to get them from the children.
