Ludivine Sagnier is a French actress known for portraying Claire in the crime thriller series Lupin.

Biography

Sagnier was born on July 3, 1979 and grew up in Sèvres, near Paris. She gained recognition for her performances in Water Drops on Burning Rocks, 8 Women and Swimming Pool, all three of which were directed by François Ozon. In 2003, she played the role of Tinkerbell in Peter Pan. Subsequently, Sagnier appeared in French films including Un Secret, Mesrine, and Remi Sans Famille, as well as English-language productions such as the miniseries The Young Pope, its follow-up The New Pope, and the historical drama series The Serpent Queen. Sagnier is married to director Kim Chapiron, and has three children.

• Sagnier's favorite actress is Liv Ullmann.
• She has a scar on her lower abdomen as the result of a peritonitis operation. During the operation, the doctors found a tumour on her stomach. However, it was benign and was removed; no complications derived from it.
• She is the head of the acting department at the Kourtrajmé film school, which provides training for students who lack means of acquiring a traditional education in the dramatic arts.
