Luxembourg Gardens is a park located in Paris' 6th arrondissement.
Background[]
Construction of the gardens began in 1612. The project was spearheaded by Marie de' Medici, the regent for Louis III. Currently, the park is owned by the French senate.
In Lupin[]
The gardens are the site of a conversation between Assane and Juliette Pellegrini about the stolen necklace. Assane, who has biked to the site dressed as a Deli + Eat deliveryman in order to escape recognition, understands that he is being watched by several police officers, despite having expressed his wishes that Juliette not bring any in. When Juliette is unable to provide him with proof of his father's innocence in the original necklace theft, Assane jumps on his bike and leaves.
Assane escapes the police in Luxembourg Gardens.
The police officers (including Romain Laugier and Sofia Belkacem) perceive that he is getting away and chase after him through the gardens; however, their progress is impeded by the fact that Assane has called in several other Deli + Eat men in order to confuse them. Assane successfully evades his pursuers, much to their irritation.
