Marie-Laure LeBlanc

Marie-Laure LeBlanc is a character in the limited series All the Light We Cannot See. She is portrayed by Aria Mia Loberti and Nell Sutton.

Biography[]

Marie-Laure is a blind teenager who flees German-occupied Paris during World War II and takes on a key role as part of the Resistance in the seaside town of Saint-Malo. Marie does illegal broadcasts from her home in Saint-Malo.

Marie and her father, Daniel, had many gems in their possession. One in particular was a prized diamond, known as the Sea of Flames, believed to give its owner eternal life. The diamond was hunted down by Nazi SS officer, Sergeant Major Reinhold von Rumpel, who was terminally ill.
