Natanael Torrija is a character in the Spanish crime drama limited series Muted. He is portrayed by Ramiro Blas.
Biography[]
Natanel is an evangelical priest and founder of the Renacer Association.[1]
He is murderer Sergio Ciscar's tutor, who was assigned by the judge to help reintegrate Sergio into society. He specialises in ex-convicts, drug addicts and victims of human trafficking.
Natanel visits Sergio after he is released from prison. He is one of the few people Sergio is willing to speak to.
Throughout Muted[]
After Sergio Ciscar's release from prison, Natanael brings Sergio to work on his greenhouse.
After Sergio was beat up by Eneko and his friends, Sergio was framed for the assault and sent to prison again. Natanael rallied outside the prison for Sergio's release. An anonymous number sent Natanael a video of Sergio's assault, showing that Sergio was actually the victim of the assault, not the aggressor. Natanael met Eneko and pressured him into retracting his statement. Sergio was set free.
Later, Daniel Cabrera, a corrupt police officer, told Natanael to bury the video evidence showing that Sergio was the victim of the assault, instead of the aggressor.
