Nightbooks is an American fantasy film directed by David Yarovesky from a screenplay by Mikki Daughtry and Tobias Iaconis. It is based on the 2018 horror-fantasy children's book of the same name by J. A. White.

The movie is being produced by Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert of Ghost House Pictures and Mason Novick and Michelle Knudsen of MXN Entertainment.[1]

Plot[]

A boy is imprisoned by a witch, Natacha, and must tell her a new scary story each night to stay alive. Alex's hair-raising tales are the only thing keeping the witch Natacha happy, but soon he'll run out of pages to read from and be trapped forever. But then the witch, Natacha, tells them that she was once a prisoner, lured in by the real witch, Aunt Gris, and that she is unicorn girl.
