Pernille Kurzmann is a character in the Danish medical crime series The Nurse. She is portrayed by Fanny Louise Bernth.
Biography[]
Pernille is a new nurse at Nykøbing Falster Hospital. She is fresh out of school and wants to prove herself. At first, she idolizes her colleague Christina, who is very skilled and charismatic, and loved my many. Pernille becomes Christina's close frined and confidante. However, Pernille notices that deaths occur nearly every time Christina works the night shift. After witnessing Christina's odd behaviour and lies, she distances herself from Christina. Pernille soon begins investigating Christina.
Pernille's friend at the hospital, Katja Lorentzen, shares Pernille's suspisions of Christina, but doesn't want to cause trouble by speaking up against her.
