Sandy is in a relationship with Oscar Brunner. She was previously in a relationship with Kyle, but he ghosted her after Sandy became pregnant. Sandy met Oscar when she was 8 months pregnant and crying in the romance section of a book store.

Sandy and Oscar raise their daughter, Romi Brunner together. They are heartbroken when they learn of Romi's leukemia diagnosis.
