Skater Girl, formerly known as Desert Dolphin, is an Indian coming-of-age sport drama film directed by Manjari Makijany and written by Manjari Makijany and Vinati Makijany. The story follows Prerna, a teenager who is introduced to skateboarding and has to fight the odds to follow her dreams and compete in the national championship.
Rachel Saanchita Gupta and Shafin Patel will make their acting debut. Emmanuel Pappas produced with Vinati and Manjari Makijany, with Michael Pellico exec producing.
