Squid Game: The Challenge is a reality competition TV series presented based on the South Korean thriller series, Squid Game. It was announced on June 15, 2022, and released on November 22, 2023.

The reality show will have the largest cast and offer the larges lump sum cash prize in reality TV history, 456 real players will enter the game in pursuit of a life-changing reward of $4.56 million. As they compete through a series of games inspired by the original show - plus surprising new additions - their strategies, alliances, and character will be put to the test while competitors are eliminated around them. The stakes are high, but in this game the worst fate is going home empty-handed.[1]

Episodes were released in batches.

  • Batch 1 - November 22nd (5 episodes)
  • Batch 2 - November 29th (4 episodes)
  • Batch 3 - December 6th (1 episode)

The series was renewed for a second season on December 9, 2023.[2]
