Tara is the guidance counselor at Silver Falls High School, who tries to help Cole Walter and Jackie Howard look towards the future. In her spare time, she hangs out with her best friend, Hayley Young.

Nikhil Choudhry, the English and drama teacher, catches Tara's eye.
