The Sound of Magic (Hangul: 안나라수마나라) is a South Korean musical drama series directed by Kim Sung-youn. It is based on the popular webtoon “Annarasumanara” by Ha Il-Kwon.[1]
Rumor has it that a mysterious magician named Ri-eul lives can make anyone disappear in an instant. Yoon Ah-yi, a young girl scraping by to feed herself and her sister, decides to pay him a visit. Forced to grow up fast, Ah-yi had to give up her childhood dream of also becoming a magician.
Ri-eul helps Ah-yi see the beauty and wonder of life Through musical numbers and whimsical magic tricks, so she can feel like a child again in the amusement park, where he showers her with stardust, confetti, butterflies and fireworks, helping Ah-yi pursue her childhood dream of playing with magic.[2]
