Thomas Lovegrove is a character in the period drama series Transatlantic. He is portrayed by Amit Rahav.
Biography[]
Thomas is a Kibbutz-born Zionist who was helping Jewish people escape to Palestine until Paris was destroyed. Along with many others, he became stuck in Europe and fled to Marseille, where he works as a spy for Margaux, the British Special Operations Executive. He opens up the Villa Air-Bel to the Emergency Rescue Committee, which helps refugees escape Nazi persecution in Europe.
Thomas is in a romantic relationship with Varian Fry. The two met in a bar in Berlin when they were the only 2 people to help a Jewish man being attacked by Nazis.[1]
