Timothy Anthony Malachy Willoughby is the main protagonist in the movie based on the children's book of the same name The Willoughbys. He is the eldest and rational son of Walter and Helga Willoughby, like Jane, Barnaby A and Barnaby B, Tim suffered abuse by his parents, however, the abuse towards him was greater than towards his brothers, which made him take responsibility for their actions and carrying them on his shoulders, so he began to develop a certain fear of his parents, believing that at some point they could harm him and his siblings.
However, after having rescued an orphan baby, whom he and his siblings named Ruth, Tim decides to send his parents away, fed up with them "staining" the Willoughby name. However, he did not count on his parents hiring an uncertified babysitter named Linda to take care of him and his siblings. And although at first he was reluctant with the nanny and kept his distance, little by little he begins to trust her, to the point that he discovers her past. Finally, at the end of the movie, Tim and his brothers are adopted by Linda and Commander Melanoff, thus having the close and loving family they always wanted.
Throughout The Willoughbys[]
Tim is a tall young man, though gaunt in appearance and very skinny in build (feature for which Linda affectionately refers to him as "Skinny Bones"), due to his parents' neglect since he was a child, with reddish pink hair that he wears in a bowl cut, and pale skin. He wears a yellowish short-sleeved button up shirt, a black tie underneath a dark wine red V- neck vest with the Willoughby crest embroidered in gold on the right side, brown socks, and black dress shoes. He also wears undersized grey short trousers, a large hand watch on his right wrist and a brass helmet on his head.
Personality[]
Tim is very proud of the past of his family except for his parents, he's determined to make his family safe and to reuse their traditions. He's afraid of strangers and to go out of his house, or to get in someone's private property. He's obsessed with having moustaches like all his ancestors but at the end he's the only who didn't get them. He doesn't like oats
Trivia[]
