Virgin River

Virgin River is an American romance drama series created by Sue Tenney. It is based on the Virgin River novels by Robyn Carr.

The series follows Melinda Monroe, who answers an ad to work as a midwife and nurse practitioner in the remote California town of Virgin River, thinking it will be the perfect place to start fresh and leave her painful memories behind.. But she soon discovers that small-town living isn't quite as simple as she expected.

The first season was released on Netflix on December 6, 2019. In December 2019, the series was renewed for a 10-episode second season which was released on November 27, 2020.^[1]In December 2020, the series was renewed for a 10-episode third season, which was released on July 9, 2021.^[2]

On September 20, 2021, it was announced that Netflix renewed the series for a fourth and fifth season.^[3]
